This is one of the suitable life skills to introduce to children from 3 years old, and it’s also an urgent skill in our current society. Therefore, in the lesson today, children from AV class were guided by the teachers on the content “Handle  & escape in case of fire”.

Fire escape skills that adults and children need to remember are as follows:

– Keep calm.

– Call 114 immediately.

– Use a cloth towel or any towel, wet it then instantly cover your nose and mouth to move away from the smoke area.

– Crouch low when moving or crawl on the floor, where is lower than the smoke layer to help the child breath easily.

– Don’t use the elevator, use the emergency exit.

– Listen and follow adults’ instructions.

With these above experiences, children can partly imagine how dangerous and how to cope when a fire occurs. We hope that parents and children can remember the basic steps above to protect themselves and safely escape from dangerous situations.
